The Experience
Find your own way. Stay a little lost.
A note from Arnie & Eric
The Lost Key started with a simple idea: create a place in the Keys that feels personal, relaxed and a little different.
Together, we want you to feel less like a hotel guest and more like someone who has found their own little place in the Keys.
25 years of Key West
My second address
I first came to Key West more than 25 years ago. And somehow, I kept coming back. Whenever I could. Year after year.
At some point, Key West stopped being just a place I visited. It became part of my life.
And then, after 25 years, I finally found my place in the Keys. Not a hotel. Not another vacation. A place of my own. The Lost Key. My second address.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you can. Leave a little different.

Living the dream
The Rooftop
Morning coffee. Sunrise. A cold drink. Sunset.
Sometimes the best place in the Keys is exactly where you already are.
A Key West feeling
The Philosopher Pirate
There is something about Key West that makes you think differently. Maybe it is the road ending here. Maybe it is the ocean on both sides. Or maybe it is simply the feeling that you do not have to keep going.
You can just be.
Inspired by Bob Dylan’s “Key West (Philosopher Pirate)”.

Slow down
No schedule required.

After sunset
Music. Warm air. One more drink.
Out on the water
Sometimes the best plan is no plan at all.
Do absolutely nothing
Stay around the marina. Go out. Come back. Go out again. Put on some Jimmy Buffett. Or some reggae. Sit on the rooftop. Watch the boats. Have a drink.
No schedule. No sightseeing. No reason to be anywhere else.
You’re not wasting time. You’re in the Keys.
